Float & set
A floating coat to bring the wall back true, then a setting coat to finish it.
Skimming
A thin finish coat over sound walls and new boards, trowelled flat.
Dry lining
Plasterboard on walls, ceilings and sloping rooms, ready to skim.
Internal rendering
Sand and cement or lime, scratched and keyed, then finished.
External rendering
Sand and cement, lime and silicone renders on houses, mews and schools.
Internal wall insulation systems
Insulation boards fixed inside, then plastered.
External wall insulation and silicone render systems
Boards, fixings, mesh and base coat outside, finished in silicone render.

Commercial work · 2023 to 2026
Thirteen projects for Pizza Pilgrims.
Rendered finishes on the brand’s pizza ovens, with the specialist team that installs their commercial kitchens. It started on Lonsdale Road in Queen’s Park and, most recently, reached Westfield Stratford.

Berry Bros. & Rudd
The front showroom of their historic premises, close to St James’s Palace. The brief: repair and renew the damaged plasterwork while protecting the room’s original character, its decorative ceiling and its curved corners and wall.

A wall built by the community.
Invited by Flavia Bertram of SELCE, we ran a demonstration of external and internal wall insulation in a South East London garden. Fifteen to twenty homeowners came with questions and ended up building the mock wall themselves: wood fibre panels, lime adhesive and base coat, glass fibre mesh, trowels.
